Notes from the route

Short, practical things we have learned placing equipment in Maine buildings.

What we look at before placing a machine

Headcount matters less than traffic pattern. A 40 person office where everyone walks past one corner supports more than a 90 person floor split across three wings.

    Micro market or vending

A market needs enough people moving through to keep product turning over and enough space to lay out shelving. Below that, machines and coolers serve the building better.

Why the first product mix changes

The opening lineup is a guess informed by what your people asked for. Real sales data after a few weeks tells us what to cut and what to double.
